LYA Boreas

Our grey champion stallion Boreas has a fantastic genetic foundation and was born at the top stud of Legendary Alpacas (Spinder family). In his first year of breeding, Boreas produced more than 50% grey offspring, from non-grey dams!

His dam comes from a pure Peruvian bloodline, and his sire is among the best grey stallions worldwide, having won no fewer than 21 prizes and still had a micron of 21 at the age of 12. His grandsire, QAI Eros, also had an exceptionally fine coat with a micron of 15.2 at the age of 6. LYA Boreas has won three first prizes and several championship trophies at fleece and alpaca shows. He also has a gentle temperament, making him a popular stallion.
