Our location

Our location surrounded by greenery is available for rent for special gatherings. In our new stable, we have sustainable and beautifully furnished spaces for meetings, education, and development.

Alpacas

Meet our herd of 70 alpacas. We regularly have animals for sale and offer alpaca owners a stud service with eight top European pedigree stallions.

Wool products

Wonderfully warm and super soft: we process our alpaca fleeces as sustainably and locally as possible into carded fleece, yarns, and beautiful lifestyle products.

Alpaca’s voor de stal

About Stal Herfte

Our sustainable and social mission is central to everything we do: we are energy neutral, offer a place to people who wouldn't otherwise be able to find a place, and work with local, sustainable, and organic partners and products.

What began in 2018 with a few sheep and alpacas to keep the grass short under Energiepark Zwolle has grown into a professional alpaca farm with approximately 70 animals. Our herd includes eight stallions that are among the best in Europe and 20 to 25 foals per year.

  • Alpaca’s voor de stal

    Energy Neutral

Sustainability is not an afterthought for us, but a fundamental principle. Stal Herfte is completely energy neutral and is part of Energiepark Zwolle.

  • Sociaal maatschappelijk

    Socially Responsible

We offer space to people who don't automatically find their place elsewhere. By providing work, structure, and trust, we create a place where everyone can contribute and develop.

  • Regeneratief

    Regenerative

We actively work on biodiversity, soil quality, and a healthy landscape. By respecting natural processes, we strengthen the environment in which our animals live.
